Fundraising
All monies raised at these events go to the ELAM Building Fund and are used to pay down the mortgage on our new church.
Vista Gift or Purchase Cards
Also available on an ongoing basis are gift cards/purchase cards from various restaurants, grocery stores, and department stores, such as Swiss Chalet, Price Chopper, Winners, The Bay, Zellers, Home Outfitters, Canadian Tire, Rona, Mark’s Work Wearhouse, Old Navy, Sears Canada, Staples and many more. You receive the face value of the card, however, the Fundraising Team receives a discount when ordering the cards and contributes the difference to the Building Fund. For a complete list, please contact Maureen Constable @ 519-685-2252 or check the Fundraising Team bulletin board at the church's Gathering Space. Order forms can be found in the Collections Chest under the Fundraising bulletin board.
When partially using a card, always compare the 4 digits of the card number printed on the receipt, with the numbers on the back of the card you received back. This is especially important when using more than one card for a purchase.
- Do not keep gift cards close to electronic devices such as computers and cell phones. This can deactivate the magnetic strip.
- Before using a card for an important event or gift giving, please call the phone # on the back of the card to confirm the amount is loaded on the card.
- If you find a card is de-activated, contact Maureen or Darlene and provide the complete card serial number, value of the card, store name and details of where and when the card was attempted to be redeemed. Vista will be contacted with this information. They in turn will contact the supplier on your behalf and will have the card re-activated or a new card will be issued.
